Education is extremely important in the development of every child – academically, emotionally and physically. We will be doing our utmost to ensure that our children attend schools of a high calibre and when necessary, they will be offered private tutors.
To improve local education Florence Foundation will run pre-schools and support gifted children in education. We will also run children’s reading clubs and adult education and adult literacy classes, and a community library in and around the communities we work within.
Africa has over 98 million out-of-school children, the highest globally, with Sub-Saharan Africa most affected. Girls face greater barriers due to cultural and economic challenges, while conflict and rural areas worsen access.
